Programs
Seven active programs spanning greening initiatives and environmental awareness across the islands.

CLEAN's flagship annual tree-planting event, delivering 1,000+ trees a year. GoGreen 2024 partnered with Dhiraagu in Hulhumalé Phase 2 as part of the national 5 Million Trees initiative. GoGreen 2025 planted 1,000 trees in HA. Dhidhdhoo, featuring species including Magoo, Kuredhi, Dhigga, Hirundhu and coconut. Partners include HDC, Hard Rock Hotel and EyeCare.

Supporting President Muizzu's 5 Million Trees Program, CLEAN has pledged 10,000 trees over five years. Planting events have taken place at Kudagiri in partnership with Maldives Islamic Bank, and at Kaamil Didi Primary School.

Distributing mango, guava, rose apple and jackfruit plants directly to households in HA. Dhidhdhoo — delivered as part of the GoGreen 2025 program to bring greening into everyday island life.

A national environmental awareness program launched in collaboration with the Malé City Council, bringing structured environmental education and outreach to communities across the capital and beyond.

Regular gatherings designed for networking, shared learning and personal growth. Meetups connect CLEAN members, foster community bonds and spark collaborative ideas for environmental action.

Targeted training and skills programs that build the capacity of CLEAN members to lead environmental initiatives, engage stakeholders and drive change within their communities.

Group discussions tackling pressing environmental issues — including plastic pollution in HA. Atoll and recycling & upcycling with the hospitality sector. Sessions also encompass stakeholder consultations and targeted awareness activities.
