These terms apply to all visitors, volunteers, members, donors and anyone else who interacts with CLEAN Maldives in any capacity.

4. Donations & Contributions

Donations made to CLEAN Maldives are voluntary and are used to fund our environmental programmes and operational activities. By making a donation you acknowledge that:

  • All donations are non-refundable unless a specific error has been made in processing.
  • We will use funds responsibly and in line with our stated mission.
  • We may contact you to acknowledge your donation or keep you updated on our work.

If you believe an error has been made in processing your contribution, please contact us at info@cleanmaldives.org within 14 days.

5. Volunteering & Participation

Participation in CLEAN Maldives activities — including beach clean-ups, reef monitoring, workshops and other events — is entirely voluntary. By participating you agree to:

  • Follow all instructions given by CLEAN Maldives staff or event leads.
  • Act responsibly and with due regard for your own safety and the safety of others.
  • Respect the local environment and communities in which activities take place.
  • Allow CLEAN Maldives to use photographs or videos taken during activities for non-commercial promotional purposes, unless you have notified us otherwise.

CLEAN Maldives is not liable for any personal injury, loss or damage that may occur during participation in activities, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
